The REV 2020 conference will take place at the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel (https://www.hotel.uga.edu) in Athens, Georgia.

Getting to UGA:

Athens and UGA are located east of Atlanta (Georgia) at an aproxx. 90 mins shuttle ride from Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (http://www.atl.com).

Groom shuttle service offers a very convenient way to get from the Airport to the REV2020 conference venue, as it picks ups guests at the airport and provides a stop at the Georgia Center at UGA. It is recommended that riders schedule their ride in advance on the Groom website. Groom offers 23 roundtrips Atlanta-Athens on a daily basis. The roundtrip costs about $80 per person (For further details and to make a reservation online, go to GROOM website):

• Airport to University: After claiming your baggage at domestic ATL Terminal North or Terminal South baggage claim, follow the signs toward Ground Transportation/MARTA. Exit the terminal through Door W1 or W2 and follow the covered walkway across the taxi pickup to the first lane in the spaces numbered 1-8. The shuttle service has at least two stops in Athens, which are the Groom Main Office and the Georgia Center. The latter is directly at the conference venue. For details see the following map or visit Athens FAQ. (Note: Groom is not allowed to pick-up at the International Terminal. Locate the International Shuttle Connector which transports from the International Terminal to the Domestic. The ride is approximately ten minutes. Once at the Domestic terminal, you would locate our van at Ground Transportation in lanes 1-8.)
• University to Airport: Athens Groom Shuttle will pick up at the rear of the Georgia Center (same as drop off) by the South Parking Deck on Green Street off of Lumpkin Street. As a reference, the address for the Georgia Center is 1197 S. Lumpkin Street, Athens, Georgia, 30602. At the Airport Groom shuttle stops at the domestic terminal first and at the international terminal second.

Local transportation in Athens and around UGA

The Georgia Center is located on the beautiful, historic campus of the University of Georgia in Athens, what some might consider a walker’s paradise. Enjoy an endless array of walking trails, gardens, museums, historic attractions, shopping, famous landmarks, and much more all within steps of our property. All of the conference meetings are either directly in the Georgia Center or in a 20 mins walking distance.

However, for local transportation we recommend using services like Uber or Lyft.
