International airports
There are two relevant airports in the Stockholm region which are
relevant for the REV2010 conference: Arlanda airport and Skavsta airport.
The transportation possibilities with train or coach are listed below;
of course you can also use taxi and varies from company to company, but
a reasonable price shall be in the range SEK 400-500. Always agree the
price with the driver before using a taxi; there are people who have
been charged amounts four or five times the indicated range prices.
Arlanda airport is used by most
large air companies: terminal 5 are used by most companies, but many
flights also arrives to and leaves from terminal 2.
There are trains
between Arlanda airport and Stocholm
Central Station about every 15th minute with Arlanda
Express. The price for a single trip is usually SEK 240 (SEK 120
for those <26 years of age or >64 years of age); often there is
an offer for SEK 240 for two persons treavel together. There is one
station at terminal 5 and another station at terminal 2.
There are airport
coahces between Arlanda airport and Stockholm
City Terminal about every 10th or 15th minute with Flygbussarna/Airport
Coaches. The price for a single trip is SEK 119 (SEK 89 for those
<64 years of age); it is a little cheaper with an E-ticket
bought through internet but it might not be worth the complication.
Skavsta airport is used by Ryanair and Wizz Air
(the latter having eleven operating bases in the region of Central and
Eastern Europe: Katowice,
Warsaw, Gdansk and
Poznan in Poland, Budapest in Hungary, Sofia in Bulgaria, Bucharest,
Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara in Romania, Kyiv in Ukraine and Prague in
Czech Republic).

City Terminal about every 15th minute with one of Flygbussarna/Airport
Coachesand Fly
by Coach. The price for a single trip with Flygbussarna is SEK 99
(SEK 89 for those <64 years of age); it is a little cheaper with an E-ticket
