Augmented Reality for the Development Process of Mechatronic and Self-Optimizing Systems

Designing Augmented Realtiy (AR) applications for the development process of mechatronic products is one goal of many research projects. This workshop gives an overview about the different application possibilities for AR during the product development process. First we introduce the basic technologies for AR. Then we present an abstract product development process and motivate the use of AR during different steps of the process. Application examples underpin the use of AR.
